cyrtanthus@aol.com BioHey all... I'm Brenda-Sue (which if you look up the origins comes from Fire and Lily... so I have a special place in my heart for fire lilies, therefore the penname "Cyrtanthus")
I love to write, I love to read, I have an active and naughty imagination, and I can be a little obsessive about the things I like... So fanfiction is a natural thing for me I guess. (for the record, I'm not stalker obsessed, just like... let's check everyday for news of a new album, and while we're waiting write stories about things we are fully aware never happened, but we wish did.... and wish were video taped.)
I love beautiful music. I love beautiful things of all kinds... My favorite band is HIM but I'm not the "stereotypical" fan that everyone talks about. *rolls eyes* When I first started liking the band, my friend Joe's reaction was, "But Brenda. You're not a gothic high school chick. How can you like HIM?" Stupid boy. As if that's their ONLY audience. Well....... it's a big slice of it, I guess. Anyhow, I "discovered" them on a trip to Oslo, and I've been hooked ever since. I've always had an affinity for all things Scandinavian, and I'll be moving to Oslo within the next few years.
Anyhow. I'm a normal girl for the most part, aside from my wacky mind and warped sense of humor. I don't fit into any stereotypical role. I'm not super trendy in any way, but I have my quirks. I talk a lot and get along well with others. I love lilies, rum, cute guys (and girls), Ticonderoga #2 pencils, and watching said cute guys kiss eachother. *memories..... evil grin*
Anyhow, I love good writing, and I hope mine amuses somebody out there. Oh btw, I love to beta, so email me if you'd like help. I'll beta pretty much anything as long as it doesn't involve... let's say slaughtering babies. I'm pretty open, and if you somehow figured out something that actually does gross me out I won't get pissed... I'll just decline the beta. *shrugs* No biggie.
